I've always loved to read. At first, because I was a shy child and books allowed me to explore worlds I found more comfortable than this one. Later, I realised that real and fictional stories help me better understand myself and the people around me, our personalities, motivations and behaviours.
When I started my career in advertising, I was drawn towards planning because I was already fascinated with understanding human behaviour. I learned new skills and tools but reading remains my favourite way to learn.

I have worked in advertising since 2002. I worked full time in large global agencies with brands across categories and countries for 16 years and then I decided to take a break.
My last job was leading the planning team at J. Walter Thompson's Bangalore office as Vice President & Strategic Planning Director.
